The Bean Factory

At home, I am a study chameleon. I not only rarely use a table and chair, I can sit on floors with books on sofa or beds or just using beds for hours. Basically, you won't find me on a table and chair unless I go out to study. For a change of environment with the hopes of getting more done than by myself, I go out mostly with a friend to find just how many cafes aside from Starbucks and Coffee Bean have a working environment that allows us enjoy a good drink beside our notes and math frustrations. So far my reoccurring haunt as of late is The Bean Factory. Shoutout to Chan Yng for introducing this cool place to me.

Decked out in a rustic with a dab of modern minimalism decor, this cool cafe is located on the first floor at a corner on one of the blocks at Lido Plaza. The seating area is basically sort of split in to two where one area is black comfy leather chairs and brown brick walls that for some reason makes you feel at home. The other area are some high rise table and chairs with nearby sockets for you to plug in your lappie/phone with plenty of natural light flooding through glass walls to clear your mind of the white noise and city bustle. Truthfully you can work or hang in either of the areas as both are equally cozy and always just quiet enough for your squad to chat endlessly or even for that much needed me time to get things done.

The place is new and there is wifi which has their password printed on your receipt once you order and pay. They not only have the general coffee, tea and latte assortments that are superb, they got juice and surprising twist on a few of your basic drinks. Like cotton candy on your hot chocolate (the lady I saw who ordered it look pretty much in heaven). You could totally get your breakfast on with their waffles and cakes. They do also serve things like salads and a bit of a proper meal though I suspect they switch it up sometimes. Let the pictures show you what I'm talking about:

Huge thanks to Priscilla, one of the best study buddy any person could ask for, in keeping me on track and for all the good chatter over lattes. She also has a blog of her own which include some pretty cool short stories and novel recommendations that you can check out by simply clicking "blog" here. Kay that's all for now and seeya next time!

Flower buds

I've known her since primary 5 all the way through high school. She was into TV and Movies and celebrities just as I was, only she didn't just liked them. No, she was obsessed with them and that revealed her to be my soul sister. Guys, meet Denise, otherwise known as Durneeze. She has her own blog which are pack with delightfully written reviews and posts. I highly recommend you to check her blog out. So last Tuesday we both had to meet up at school to pick up our SPM results and planned out to hang after that. We snatched the chance to do a collaborative post of us and work together. Both of us decided to write a little different from the other so go check out her blog for her post on us. Its a lifestyle//interview blog as she would say if needed to label and honestly every post is interesting and worth the time to read. For my interview with her, we video and it honestly started with an awkward intro of "I'm Denise *both laughs* and I'm Tatiana". I

Tune Favourites

Hey guys. Just a quick correction from my previous post, its not mist, its a haze. Thanks to my ever loving brother for pointing it out. If there is something wrong with my post for me to check out, really feel free to comment on it! So as I said, lately its been a very laidback weather here and these are the songs that carried me through it. I might not be able to list all but just click here and you can find the rest on my SoundCloud. It's been awhile since the last Tune Favourite  and that means I've been listening a ton. 1. "Here" by Alessia Cara (Lucian Remix) This has been basically the soundtrack for my August and even now I can't but be so floored by this singer's voice. I discovered her from a youtuber I follow and never regretted the decision to subscribe to her Vevo channel. While the original is the stuff, I love how it was remix here and every decision made to create it is so spot on. Do check out her other singles like "I&#

2021 Update

Hi readers if I still have any. I know its been two whole years since my last one and the reasoning the same. I am still doing my degree and technically in my final semester but with everything going on right now I am still the same girl with new different things to be anxious about. I am not sure if this means I am back on the blogging grind but I weirdly still feel a need to update on where I am, where you could find me more if not this blog and it felt like the mood to write this came and I jumped on it.     So I am right now trying to do my best with doing my final stretch of degree on a virtual online platform and my weakness for getting things done and time managing hit me so hard. Not being able to be where my family is right now in Sabah has caused tons of different strains no one is prepared for but I want to leave you all also things I am doing to do to try work on it. I am taking therapy (it has been hard work but its definitely relieved my emotional overwhelm-ness whic
