Giving a L

Aside from Valentine's being just another thing used to rob us of our cash and doing something special for our significant other (though you don't need a special occasion as reason to do that), I like to propose a different angle, especially for those who aren't in a relationship. Take this time to be your own special someone. Or to show some love to those in your life like your parents, best friends or anyone special to you outside of romantic means. Valentine's day should not be the reminder that you are or are not dating someone, it should remind you that you have someone in your life who have taught you how to love. Reflect from a love lost in hopes you do better for the ones you still have now. For all the memories and hard lessons. The cradling arms that collected your tears and the joke in the air that gifted you another chance to laugh. Whoever that is, be it others or yourself, take time aside to be kind to them because in a world that is advancing too fa...

Casual Outfits Lookbook

WASHED OUT Thanks to youtubers like IAMKARENO and TheLineUp, this trick of knotting up your shirt has been fully implemented into how I dress most of the time. Sometimes, I feel like tucking into your jeans can take up unnecessary time, particularly if you're always trying to get just the right amount of fabric to tuck in to achieve that balance in your looks. Frankly, I can get real sick of it so I adopted this knotting hack so much this year than I ever did before. Whilst its nothing new, it timelessly adjust your outfit's proportion, especially for petite ladies. This trick can even be done at the back of tee just to mix things up. I am also madly in love with these jeans I got from H&M Coachella 2017 Line as its booty fitted with dainty embroidaries. It makes my butt look really good given I'm usually on the flatter side in that department and that's really saying something.  MELLOW YELLOW Contrary to the name, this is a pretty loud shirt with moo...

College Looks

In collaboration with my girl, Denise, from Down The Yellow Brick  , we're a college theme posts so look out for them. We are revving to blog and we hope you enjoy them despite being so off the radar due to life and school. But let's get started. To be specific, I take A-level Science here in Kota Kinabalu and we have to wear a school shirt as a uniform. Aside from that though their is very free rein on pants and clothes. Its not really college per say but its still considered Pre-University so I still understand what kind of clothes you needed to get through the semester. Though the outfits you see here aren't my daily wear to school but I got some approvals from friends who go to college and managed to style up some looks based on general dress codes you may face at your college or university. Hence it's all very doable. This would be my first outfit post so I'm a complete amateur at this and at being the model for once as I don't feel I am at all photogen...

Shades Of Cool

My friend, Fran (imagine the puns made with her name), and I had conducted couple of photo shoots since last year. Last Saturday was our third shoot till a long time considering we are all mostly likely gonna be busy for a while since graduating form high school. It's also by far the best I had, even considering that our only cameras were her sister's iPhone 4 and my Sony Xperia Z2. Quick note on my smartphone: I wanted to find one with the best camera and this totally fit my criteria of the perfect camera. Its manual function allows me to control ISO, focus on certain objects whilst giving a blur background similar to that of a DSLR and capture amazing details. Basically, I take all my photos with it. For this shoot, we went for a minimalist grunge as the theme. For once we went for something really simple but not understated at all. In their basic apparels, the models, Cristy (left) and Chan Yng (right), wore delicate necklaces and rings provided by me. They shine ...
