Food Disclosure

Part of the overwhelming "foodie" percentile, I have been eating at a variety of places particularly last year because I consider it stress relieving to try something new and I am more than happy to practise that. To stay true to finding materials on what I be interested to write about, I took tons of pictures when I remember to. Surprisingly I've garner quite a bit of a gallery over a couple months and I'm excited to share these restaurant faves. Your welcome. Socialize Cafe Spotted as you roll straight into Metro Town, its another addition to the growing cafe and barista industry here in KK. While they mostly offer western food with the usual assortment of coffee and tea varieties, I usually come here for brunch with my family or friends. I highly recommend you go for their breakfast options; my all time must have being the Eggs Benedict dish but you can also have your egg scrambled or sunny side up or poached for its other choices. Coming here after an e...

Beauty Haul+Review

Fulfilling my promise to you guys about some haul I got yeah! I decided to kind of introduce some of the things I got from all my previous trips slowly since using them from several months to a couple years now, I can finally attest to their use and hence I will put in bit by bit so bear with me. With that said lets start with the beginning of my current skincare routine: Fresh Rose Cleansing Foam Starting with the cleansing of the face, I'm not going to lie but ever since Sephora open up here in KK, I have made quite a few splurges since I finished my cleanser and toner that I usually buy from my facialist/esthetician. However her stuff are uber expensive and not really in stores anywhere else. Hence determined to find a cheaper alternative, I was more than excited to venture into what the sales associates (Fun fact: they are actually called "cast members" and the sales floor are the "stage") would recommend. I always went for as natural as I could aff...

Updates

Hi everyone, it's been awhile I know. I am currently in the middle of my trials and we have a day off tomorrow before we finish up another two days of test so I thought I just do some speedy typing and let you all know what's been up in my life. In case you didn't know, places like Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and others are currently weighted in mist and hence they are force to close down schools and the radio is going off about taking precautions as this phenomenon is detrimental to our health. Here in Sabah however seems mostly unaffected though the mountains are a lot harder to spot with a veil of fog or mist. I'm not too sure. Hence days lately seems cool and hardly sunny, in other words it is almost the "perfect nap time" weather here.  For the past month, I've have spent a lot of time meeting friends and new people before my trials. Especially they all came back because they had school break and it was really good to catch up over a meal or a m...

College: The Survival of You

Hi guys, this is my second post to the college collab I'm doing with Denise so be sure to check her out too and lets get this started: 1# It's fine to not be fine I am naturally a more laid back person than hard working. Particularly because I was encouraged a lot to work hard at my studies and being a person who lets reverse psychology work on her, I tend to not heed that advice. This in turn was responded with more severe pressure and nagging that I could not deal and it made me sick and anxious and at one point pretty depress in the worse way. Now with going through a transition where I bear more responsibilities, I find myself really beating myself up. If anything college, pre-uni or university teaches you, its that you'll definitely meet people who are way better than you at the start of your first semester. You may have been top whatever in your high school but its another story in tertiary studies. So it really brought me down when I find I was no where clos...

College Looks

In collaboration with my girl, Denise, from Down The Yellow Brick  , we're a college theme posts so look out for them. We are revving to blog and we hope you enjoy them despite being so off the radar due to life and school. But let's get started. To be specific, I take A-level Science here in Kota Kinabalu and we have to wear a school shirt as a uniform. Aside from that though their is very free rein on pants and clothes. Its not really college per say but its still considered Pre-University so I still understand what kind of clothes you needed to get through the semester. Though the outfits you see here aren't my daily wear to school but I got some approvals from friends who go to college and managed to style up some looks based on general dress codes you may face at your college or university. Hence it's all very doable. This would be my first outfit post so I'm a complete amateur at this and at being the model for once as I don't feel I am at all photogen...

Shades Of Cool

My friend, Fran (imagine the puns made with her name), and I had conducted couple of photo shoots since last year. Last Saturday was our third shoot till a long time considering we are all mostly likely gonna be busy for a while since graduating form high school. It's also by far the best I had, even considering that our only cameras were her sister's iPhone 4 and my Sony Xperia Z2. Quick note on my smartphone: I wanted to find one with the best camera and this totally fit my criteria of the perfect camera. Its manual function allows me to control ISO, focus on certain objects whilst giving a blur background similar to that of a DSLR and capture amazing details. Basically, I take all my photos with it. For this shoot, we went for a minimalist grunge as the theme. For once we went for something really simple but not understated at all. In their basic apparels, the models, Cristy (left) and Chan Yng (right), wore delicate necklaces and rings provided by me. They shine ...
