So far in 2014

Slowly learning to take pictures whenever I want. This is the old structure infront of Suria Mall, currently turned the display for cool graffitis. Feeling adventurous, I had to take some shots. Here are a few that I took for the past few months, visually updating you on a few of my activities and my photography skills ehe. Lanterns up in Gaya Street during CNY. Getting ready to explore Korea after settling in our rooms. On a bus to the Cruise.    "Have you check out the buffet Tati?"   Celebrated a good friend's birthday at school and a few shots with the school's very own DSLR that I borrowed. YAY. A team campaigning for Student Council by giving students some cool stickers. And that concludes my short update on my life. I hope you enjoy them! Bye all.

Mum's Memories

So I was scrolling through some 70's inspired looks, vintage accessories and the sort. It then reminded me of Mum's old scrapbook. She keep these pictures that she got from friends back when she started working and I love to look at them occasionally. When you open the scrapbook, this is the first thing you see. And the two couples you see here were drawn on, by whom Mom can't remember but its drawn really well. Remind me of those old retro movies. Most of her pictures were of her colleagues and that were a lot of photos of guys in the album than girls. Most picture also have there own captions by them. Its really quirky and this was when Mom was rocking the straight bangs look and was a natural in front of the camera. Here is a photo of Mum and colleagues. Most of the picture of her have her wearing really nice dresses or high-waisted skirts with cute blouses. Some totally look vintage and I wish I could have some of them. In those day, Mum had those...

DIY: Flower crown

Few months back I had made my own lipstick and the next thing I felt like doing was a flower crown. Yes, they were quite the huge trend among teenagers, particularly in the US where it was concerts season and flower crowns were the norm to wear. I don't know where those girls got there flower crowns but I was really hooked to getting one when I watch this youtube video by Forever21 who upload a couple of DIY tutorials. I thought it was pretty easy and I knew which stores to get the materials and thankfully also have a friend who diys for cosplaying. So I manage to borrow some wires and a glue gun from her and it just made things easier for me. Things needed: - Glue gun - Fake flowers (try get detachable ones) - Felt material (preferably green coloured, though any color can do really) - Some thin bendable wires - Scissors Image: Wires, Felt material and Fake Detachable Flowers This isn't a tutorial so this is gonna be simple and brief. So I measured m...

School Camp 2013

Due to whereabouts of the pictures I took for the make-up review, I can't make the review right now but I do have something for all of you to read and see. My long-and-what-seem-like-will-never-end exam ended last Tuesday and we still had 3 days of school before our 2 week holiday. So on Wednesday we hang with St. Simon primary school to celebrate mass for St. Simon's Day and Kaamatan celebration which was alright. Then we had this camp that the school organized for those who want to join and obviously I signed up for it. I never really camp before and it was a good way to spend Thursday and Friday so we were pretty excited. Day 1 My friends which included Chan Yng, Fran and Denise had plan a few things like sleeping the night at school in a tent rather than in the air-conditioned rooms just for experience and we had movies listed to watch as well. So one person at least brought 3 stuffed bags to the camp. We had to be there around 7 in the morning for registration which lat...
