A Shoe In

Now I just wanted you know that I didn't get all these stuff in one or two recent shopping trips. This was all just gather over a long period of time since I don't buy shoes a lot and tend to just keep wearing one style of shoes till I can't anymore. That's just how I've always roll and hence why I love investing in a good pair of shoes, so lets get on with the first one: PADINI BLACK BUCKLE SANDALS I fell in love with these in my last trip to KL because I was really into the whole basic minimalistic look and if you're wondering if the stitches around the body of the shoes came with it, it didn't. While they weren't priced especially cheap, they weren't expensive either and eventually there was a split in the soles. So when I brought it to repairs, the cobbler basically said gluing it would eventually have it split again and recommended stitching it. Since you wouldn't noticed if I wore them, I honestly didn't mind because I still...

Haul+Review: Beauty Care Edition I

Hey guys! So over the couple of months, I have garner quite a bit of haul that I thought it be way better to just split this post into three parts. With that said, we're gonna start of with some beauty care: ARCONA RASPBERRY CLARIFYING BAR  I ran out of a few stuff hence why I decided I be open to the market of something else I haven't tried. Aside from going as natural as possible in my routine, I like to go into stores with an aim and while I have fairly okay skin, I still had a bunch of tiny zits on my forehead that weren't bad or anything but they were always in the way for my dream of a smooth textured face as weird as that was worded. So with that in mind and yet again plunging into a discussion with one lady at Sephora, she recommended Arcona. A low key skincare brand that did things natural and with advance tech. This bar is cold-pressed so while using it, your skin is getting the goodies it offers as effectively as possible. Not going to lie though;...

Updates

It's been a hella long time since the last "updates" post I realized as I was scrolling through my dashboard. Hence, I thought I give you a low down on what's been going on since then and what better time to type this out than on the day I get my A level results! So since graduating from doing A levels, I had to do a lot of independent living because it is inevitable no matter what next step I decide to do. This basically means a lot of adulting like getting a part time job to fill some time and learning how to cook properly (or at least to fill my stomach). I won't go too much into this but might consider doing a more detail post on it another time. July gave me a lot of time to think and contemplate too about myself. I even got to catch up with a ton of some old close friends which I'm pretty grateful for as I got to learn a lot of things about further education so if any of you are reading this; thanks for your funny stories and wisdom, it ...

DIY: Rosewater

If you have been looking up at my hauls, you know I'm a huge fan for skincare and lately I've been more interested in going as natural as I like in my routine. Don't get me wrong, certain chemicals are good for us (e.g. Retinol, Amino Acids and Salicylic Acid just to name a few) too but there is also something very reassuring knowing the products you use are Paraben Free or Alcohol Free and all that. I feel like you're less likely to mess up your skin that way. With that same passion combine with my interest of DIY, I give you: The Rosewater. In one of my previous posts, I have highly praised my Fresh Rose Floral Toner and still do but I'll admit coming into the end of my third bottle that my skin have now adapted to it. It just isn't quite as effective since but I still commend it for keeping any irritation to my skin at bay. It isn't worth getting it anymore given how pricey it was but I still couldn't part from its calming effects so makin...

Cold Shoulder

I told him I wanted a kiss He asked if I was just thirsty that maybe it wasn't necessarily him I would be fine getting it from anyone really I looked to him "Don't." Because as much as I want to say "I love you" I wasn't much into making love scenes They didn't really match at least that's what most people see them as One seem like he could do better the other just a potential homewrecker and yeah they were wrong about them mostly, but they had an expiration date that neither haven't noticed I could tell she was growing distant, the last second turn when I lean in, the pause she replies from time to time, Time I hadn't realize was apparently running out for us I see her and thought "I love.." She sees me and just sighs It's been a week since they last  saw each other, eyes locked on  across a crowded room at some party The host they could vaguely recall the music and the ruckus fading He walk o...

Food Disclosure

Part of the overwhelming "foodie" percentile, I have been eating at a variety of places particularly last year because I consider it stress relieving to try something new and I am more than happy to practise that. To stay true to finding materials on what I be interested to write about, I took tons of pictures when I remember to. Surprisingly I've garner quite a bit of a gallery over a couple months and I'm excited to share these restaurant faves. Your welcome. Socialize Cafe Spotted as you roll straight into Metro Town, its another addition to the growing cafe and barista industry here in KK. While they mostly offer western food with the usual assortment of coffee and tea varieties, I usually come here for brunch with my family or friends. I highly recommend you go for their breakfast options; my all time must have being the Eggs Benedict dish but you can also have your egg scrambled or sunny side up or poached for its other choices. Coming here after an e...

The Bean Factory

At home, I am a study chameleon. I not only rarely use a table and chair, I can sit on floors with books on sofa or beds or just using beds for hours. Basically, you won't find me on a table and chair unless I go out to study. For a change of environment with the hopes of getting more done than by myself, I go out mostly with a friend to find just how many cafes aside from Starbucks and Coffee Bean have a working environment that allows us enjoy a good drink beside our notes and math frustrations. So far my reoccurring haunt as of late is The Bean Factory. Shoutout to Chan Yng for introducing this cool place to me. Decked out in a rustic with a dab of modern minimalism decor, this cool cafe is located on the first floor at a corner on one of the blocks at Lido Plaza. The seating area is basically sort of split in to two where one area is black comfy leather chairs and brown brick walls that for some reason makes you feel at home. The other area are some high rise table and cha...
