Cold Shoulder

I told him I wanted a kiss
He asked if I was just thirsty
that maybe it wasn't necessarily him
I would be fine getting it from anyone really
I looked to him "Don't."
Because as much as I want to say "I love you"
I wasn't much into making love scenes

They didn't really match
at least that's what most people see them as
One seem like he could do better
the other just a potential homewrecker
and yeah they were wrong about them
mostly, but they had an expiration date
that neither haven't noticed

I could tell she was growing distant,
the last second turn when I lean in,
the pause she replies from time to time,
Time I hadn't realize
was apparently running out for us
I see her and thought "I love.."
She sees me and just sighs

It's been a week since they last
saw each other, eyes locked on
across a crowded room at some party
The host they could vaguely recall
the music and the ruckus fading
He walk over to her first
looking to see if she loves him at all
He said "Say something nice to me."

She looked up, thinking this was it
She could be finally be brave
save themselves from the inevitable
and end it all right there.
This time, she will not let herself weaken
from the idea of wanting to touch him
or how she missed him
This time, she will have the strength
to break both their hearts now
before they both end up ruined.
She replied "Leave me alone."

And here is another poem ,definitely from one of  my late night writing and inspirations. I really wanted to capture the kind of love that most people tend to pass on for the better "good" and the difficulty in it for both parties involve. I really hope you enjoyed this one and I know I've been a hermit from the blog but its a real crucial part of my A-level right now so I can promise I will get back to you all with all kinds of post at June. Do comment and as always till the next one guys.

Tune Favourites

Double posting yeah! Feeling pretty motivated so straight after my very recent post of my trip to La Holla, here is another post on some of the songs that got me feeling some good vibes for the past 2 months I've been in the US until even now. You all also get an idea on my kind of music which is pretty eclectic as some of those who I violated with my playlist over the radio would know. Along with what I think of the song as well as a bit of info on it, hope you guys check em' out and see if you like them! 1. Blank Space/ Style (Taylor Swift Mashup) by Louisa Wendorff & Devin Dawson This is my current on repeat song that I only discovered just couple days back and this song got 4 million views on youtube. Gaining these artists some attention from the media and compliments from Tay Swift herself! Also they got to attend the Grammy's today and sing this song on E!'s pre red carpet show. Nothing but soft classic yet original tunes and perfect harmony that ...

Tune Favourites

Hey guys. Just a quick correction from my previous post, its not mist, its a haze. Thanks to my ever loving brother for pointing it out. If there is something wrong with my post for me to check out, really feel free to comment on it! So as I said, lately its been a very laidback weather here and these are the songs that carried me through it. I might not be able to list all but just click here and you can find the rest on my SoundCloud. It's been awhile since the last Tune Favourite  and that means I've been listening a ton. 1. "Here" by Alessia Cara (Lucian Remix) This has been basically the soundtrack for my August and even now I can't but be so floored by this singer's voice. I discovered her from a youtuber I follow and never regretted the decision to subscribe to her Vevo channel. While the original is the stuff, I love how it was remix here and every decision made to create it is so spot on. Do check out her other singles like "I...

Flower buds

I've known her since primary 5 all the way through high school. She was into TV and Movies and celebrities just as I was, only she didn't just liked them. No, she was obsessed with them and that revealed her to be my soul sister. Guys, meet Denise, otherwise known as Durneeze. She has her own blog which are pack with delightfully written reviews and posts. I highly recommend you to check her blog out. So last Tuesday we both had to meet up at school to pick up our SPM results and planned out to hang after that. We snatched the chance to do a collaborative post of us and work together. Both of us decided to write a little different from the other so go check out her blog for her post on us. Its a lifestyle//interview blog as she would say if needed to label and honestly every post is interesting and worth the time to read. For my interview with her, we video and it honestly started with an awkward intro of "I'm Denise *both laughs* and I'm Tatiana". I ...
