On Beauty

So to kick off with introducing you guys the major haul I got from the US and some other finds from home, I decided to start with the beauty bundle I manage to put together. I'm no professional so I'm simply writing this review from my own opinion and experience. Here goes: ARGANICARE Hair Serum   I've recently am into caring my hair as I never paid much attention to it but since I started playing around with it, I learned on the way that it needs some love if its gonna go through a couple heat hair wands. Despite my initial intent of treating it to some coconut oil, I find that I never have enough coconut oil for my hair and if I do, I most likely forgot. This serum that I got from Ross was price down to around $7 from its original $26. What really caught my attention was that it had certified Argan Oil for that much needed vitamin E and anti-oxidant and Shea butter. Its objective is to keep hair from looking dull and be that instant repair for roots to tips.

Belated Valentine's

The sun light blazed, people were out and about with their own business and it seems like just any other normal day. Yet with just the simple tap on my Instagram app, that day is invariably Valentine's Day. From partner appreciation videos to snaps of gifts from that special one or even your parents, its all lined up for you in your feed.   Everyone is in a happy mood. Single or not, the day encourages people to go and love those important to you. Whilst it is undoubtedly something we should be doing always, it also one of the hardest and often a forgettable act to do. This morning during breakfast, my phone rang and I was far too deep in sleep to actually get up and reach for it but then I remember how I fought with Kyle a few days ago. It could be a message from him I thought. With reluctance, I grabbed my phone and whilst pressing the power button, I couldn't stop the hope creeping into my heart. Kyle  Hi, Happy Valentine's Day. And I'm sorry. Got yo

Tune Favourites

Double posting yeah! Feeling pretty motivated so straight after my very recent post of my trip to La Holla, here is another post on some of the songs that got me feeling some good vibes for the past 2 months I've been in the US until even now. You all also get an idea on my kind of music which is pretty eclectic as some of those who I violated with my playlist over the radio would know. Along with what I think of the song as well as a bit of info on it, hope you guys check em' out and see if you like them! 1. Blank Space/ Style (Taylor Swift Mashup) by Louisa Wendorff & Devin Dawson This is my current on repeat song that I only discovered just couple days back and this song got 4 million views on youtube. Gaining these artists some attention from the media and compliments from Tay Swift herself! Also they got to attend the Grammy's today and sing this song on E!'s pre red carpet show. Nothing but soft classic yet original tunes and perfect harmony that

Walking on sunshine, CA

Hi guys! This is a post on my trip across California couple days after I've just arrived in Seattle from home. It was a trip my older brother, Melvin, suggested and wanted my Mom and I to join. I decided to split this trip into a few post just to give you all some details on the highlights of this trip. So expect some up coming post but maybe not in order as there are still so much I want to share as well. Okay here we go! I've had always heard about Cali, she's fun, bright and all smiles. Despite the winter weather, Cali gave me the confidence to just bust out in a cotton sweater and jeans alone, no jacket. My only outfit regret is not having the option to walk in sneaks instead of my winter boots. It was like the place was giving me the freedom for more movement, more new outings. This was especially refreshing from the chilly bite in Seattle so obviously I took whatever chance I get to revel in my sun bathing days there. I noticed the small traces of spring. I s
