Mum's Memories

So I was scrolling through some 70's inspired looks, vintage accessories and the sort. It then reminded me of Mum's old scrapbook. She keep these pictures that she got from friends back when she started working and I love to look at them occasionally. When you open the scrapbook, this is the first thing you see. And the two couples you see here were drawn on, by whom Mom can't remember but its drawn really well. Remind me of those old retro movies. Most of her pictures were of her colleagues and that were a lot of photos of guys in the album than girls. Most picture also have there own captions by them. Its really quirky and this was when Mom was rocking the straight bangs look and was a natural in front of the camera. Here is a photo of Mum and colleagues. Most of the picture of her have her wearing really nice dresses or high-waisted skirts with cute blouses. Some totally look vintage and I wish I could have some of them. DIY: Flower crown

Few months back I had made my own lipstick and the next thing I felt like doing was a flower crown. Yes, they were quite the huge trend among teenagers, particularly in the US where it was concerts season and flower crowns were the norm to wear. I don't know where those girls got there flower crowns but I was really hooked to getting one when I watch this youtube video by Forever21 who upload a couple of DIY tutorials. I thought it was pretty easy and I knew which stores to get the materials and thankfully also have a friend who diys for cosplaying. So I manage to borrow some wires and a glue gun from her and it just made things easier for me. Things needed: - Glue gun - Fake flowers (try get detachable ones) - Felt material (preferably green coloured, though any color can do really) - Some thin bendable wires - Scissors Image: Wires, Felt material and Fake Detachable Flowers This isn't a tutorial so this is gonna be simple and brief. So I measured m
